2025 Annual VSR Conference

About the conference; 
2025 Annual Conference of the Dutch-Flemish Law & Society Association (VSR)

The VSR, the Dutch-Flemish Law and Society Association, has existed since 1980 and is an association for scholars and practitioners who conduct research on law-in-action or are interested in it. During our annual two-day conference researchers from different disciplinary backgrounds (sociologists of law, legal anthropologists, legal psychologists, public administration experts and criminologists) present their findings. The theme for this year’s annual conference is: The Socio-Legal Imagination


Conference speakers
The keynote of the conference will be delivered by Prof. Ole Hammerslev, Professor of Sociology of Law at Lund University, Sweden.

The conference fee is € 125,- and includes lunch on both days.
PhDs who attend the pre-conference PhD school are offered a reduced conference fee of € 95,-. Please contact us by email.
